Mirostowice to niewielka miejscowość w pobliżu Żar. Tam się urodziłem i wychowałem, ale wciąż odkrywam jak mało o niej wiem. Z internetu dowiaduję się, że były tu kopalnie węgla brunatnego, że była kolejka linowa, która transportowała wegiel przez las aż do Żar, że była nawet linia tramwajowa, wożąca pracowników kopalni. Tak więc Zielona Góra tramwajów nie miała i nie ma, ale Mirostwice miały :)
W pewnym wieku człowiek zaczyna szukać swoich korzeni i to nie tylko tych rodzinnych ale tak szerzej, korzeni społecznych. Założyłem więc aparat na szyję i wyszedłem na „miasto” aby odnaleźć miejsca, które mnie wychowały. Powiem wam, że jak człowiek ma na szyi aparat to zaczyna się od razu czuć jak turysta, nawet jeśli jest we własnym mieście. Zmienia się sposób patrzenia, rzeczy staja się piekne i godne uwiecznienia. Niestety brak czasu uniemożliwił mi dłuższą wyprawę, więc dzisiaj pokażę wam tylko kilka zdjęć.
Na początek przedszkole. Piekny, okazały budynek, o którym nic nie wiem. Aktualnie stoi pusty. Z przedszkola pamiętam pierwsze kontakty z innymi dziećmi, tworzenie relacji i walkę by być najlepszym kolegą kogokolwiek :)
Cegły to nieodłączny element Mirostowic, nie tylko dlatego, że wiele domów jest wybudowanych z ładnie poukładanej cegły, ale też dlatego, że miejscowy zakład produkował ją tu przez wiele lat.
O samych Mirostowickich Zakładach Ceramicznych chciałbym napisać kiedyś trochę więcej.
Parafia w Mirostowicach Dolnych istnieje od 1346 r., czyli kawał historii. Wczesnogotycki kościół pw. św. Barbary wybudowany w XIII w. z kamienia i cegły. Wieża pochodzi z roku 1798. W 1983 r. odrestaurowano elewację kościoła i wieży. Założono też polichromowy strop z XVIII w. pochodzący z rozebranego protestanckiego kościoła Łaski w Kożuchowie. Strop został zdemontowany pod koniec lat sześdziesiątych, a sam kościół wysadzono. Polichromie z tego kościoła zamontowano w kościołach w następujących miejscowościach:
Poniżej polichromia z parafii Podwyższenia Krzyża w Zielonej Górze przedstawiająca zesłanie Ducha Świętego.
Niektóre domy w Mirostowicach sa naprawdę bardzo ciekawe. Poniżej ornament na jednym z nich. Jeśli wiesz co on symbolizuje to napisz do mnie - adres znajdziesz wyżej.
I jeszcze kilka domów. Pierwszy to budynek stojacy przy dawnych Mirostowickich Zakładach Ceramicznych. Pamiętam, że była tam poczta i sklep gdzie kupowałem mleko w szklanych butelkach zamykanych specjalnym złotkiem. Drugie zdjęcie przedstawia budynek dawnej stacji kolejowej. Teraz jest to dom mieszklany. Trzecie zdjęcie to jeden z ładniejszych domów z charakterystyczną basztą. Kiedyś była tam salka WF szkoły podstawowej.
Mirostowice wraz z przylegającymi wioskami mają bogatą historię. Były tu oprócz wspominanych już zakładów ceramicznych i cegielni również kopalnie węgla i elektrownia. Kopalnia posiadała kolejkę linową, którą to węgiel był transportowany do Żar. Do dziś w lesie znaleźć można słupy nośne tej kolejki. Kopalnie to osobny temat, któremu kiedys poświęcę więcej czasu. Póki co, gdybyście kiedys znaleźli się w Mirostowicach to pytajcie o Tomka Zabawę - to człowiek, który o kopalniach na tym terenie wie wszystko, prowadzi nawet własne ekomuzeum, po którym chetnie was oprowadzi.
Na koniec zdjęcie mojego osiedla i wieży kościoła na tle nieba rozpalonego słońcem mającym się ku zachodowi.
I obiecuję, że następny wpis będzie o Zielonej Górze.

A w tej salce w latach pięćdziesiątych mieściło się przedszkole tzw.kopalniane ,bo przynależało do Kopalni Węgla Kamiennego "Henryk".Dopiero jak kopalnia się wyeksploatowała,budynek przejęła Szkoła Podstawowa.Część budynku wykorzystano na salkę gimnastyczną,a resztę przekazano nauczycielom na mieszkania.W obecnej chwili są tylko mieszkania.

Bardzo mało wiem. Jak mieszkałem w Mirostowicach to nie interesowała mnie historia naszej kochanej wioski, a teraz nadrabiam.
W wakacje zamierzam dowiedzieć się więcej, odwiedzę Tomka Zabawę, pogadam z "ludźmi" i może zrobię jakąś mini stronę o Mirostowicach bo uważam, że warto.
